WHY DON'T WE ACCOUNT FOR THE MONEY ALLOCATED FOR EDUCATION?

We are proponents that Education in Nigeria should be properly funded, and it's our wish and desire to see the Federal Government of Nigeria fund our schools and universities. Our problem is what happens to the Billions of Naira that is allocated to the educational sector?
We know that money is not really enough as education should be our top priority since it cuts across everyone and every sphere of the economy. But what happens to the Monies allocated to the educational sector? Because from what we see, it doesn't look like billions of naira has been given to education. When the Federal government disbursed these monies to the Ministry of education, what do they do with it? How come Nigerians citizens don't have access to Federal Government Scholarships but more of the Private scholarships? What is the ministry of education doing with the monies it gets from the Presidency for education? Our schools have nothing to show for it, monies too are given to some schools and universities, what do they do with the money? You Go to some universities labs, no chemicals or the reagents are expired. The so-called lecturers are demanding for better pay, when they get this pay, do they stop extorting from their students? They keep asking for raises year after year, yet they keep collecting monies from the students. Some of them claim they are on strike when they are lecturing in several private Universities as adjunct lecturers. Who are they deceiving? They don't care about the welfare of the students; while the students are at home idle and prone to social vices, the lecturers are busy putting money in their pockets from private Universities, and you say you need funding?
Why should the Federal Government fund you more when you have nothing to show for the ones, she has given you. Should the government continue increasing your pay yet you keep collecting sorting from students.
ASUU or whatever they call themselves are greedy people who care about only themselves. They also want the retirement age to be at 75, we think, how will our children get employed if our fathers refuse to retire.
In as much as we wish a better funding of the educational sector, we must say that there are so many leakages in the universities and ministry of education, monies are unaccounted for, monies are embezzled and misappropriated and they have nothing to show for it. We need to be factual about these issues because ASUU doesn't care about the students but themselves.
