So NYSC had the power to deny graduates who did not have distinction in 'O' levels? wetin concern NYSC and SSCE bikonu?

Well a brave graduate Terna Tarka sued the chairman, National Directorate of NYSC, and the minister, Ministry of Education, as second and third defendants respectively denying him mobilisation on the account that he did not have a credit pass in Mathematics in his O’ Level certificate examination. Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos has declared as unlawful and ultra vires the decision by the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, to deny Nigerian graduates participation in the compulsory National Youth Service for not possessing credit passes in O’ Level Mathematics.
