HOW CAN JONATHAN BE THE CAUSE OF BOKO HARAM?

To everyone who accuses President Goodluck Jonathan of being the reason Boko Haram is terrorising the nation, let's be candid about one thing, Jonathan will never support or sponsor a terrorist organisation against anyone let alone his own country. We all know the agenda of Boko Haram, in as much as the terrorist organisation is an Islamic sect, it will be blasphemous and sacrilegious to say Islam supports terrorism and violence. We all know Islam preaches peace and unity and those using it to destroy lives and properties are doing it outside the religion, it has nothing to do with Islam, likewise President Jonathan, he has nothing to do with Boko Haram, it's like saying President Yar'Adua and President Obasanjo support militancy, after all when they were in power, we had several militancy raids and attacks. You all know the mission of Boko Haram, do their mission align with that of President Jonathan? So let's get these facts straight, there will always be a leader some love and some hate but accusing Jonathan for being the cause of Boko Haram is purely preposterous and abysmally libellous.

We read that the so-called new PDP has urged Jonathan to drop 2015 if he truly loves Nigeria, we put it this way, the new PDP should leave Jonathan alone and drop 2015, if they truly love Nigeria, because these same people have been in the system and did nothing and have now recycled themselves to term it new PDP to cause problems in our polity.
The point here is Jonathan like every President who has been in office has the right to contest for the presidency for a second tenure, and it is now left for us as citizens to decide whether he returns back in office or let him go. The so-called new PDP what are they offering that is different from what they have already offered? Because Jonathan's administration is exposing their flaws, they are ganging up against him. These same people have been in Government for about 12-14 years, what impact have they made to the ordinary Nigerian like you and I? They are all bunches of destroyers who don't care about the welfare of the ordinary Nigerian. We may not love Jonathan, but there are things he has done that has brought about more freedom in this country as against the days where you couldn't even challenge the civilian government in power without being afraid, let alone, the military government. All we are saying is, politics is a level playground for everyone to showcase their prowess and popularity. Asking Jonathan to forget 2015 if he truly loves Nigeria, is no way to prove his love for his country. Let's say he does, and decides not to contest in 2015, will his replacement, provided by these so-called new PDP be any better than him? They will do worse than is already done and loot more and bankrupt the national treasury.
If today these people are saying Jonathan is the devil, we ask that were they not the ones who presented him to Nigeria as their flagbearer and told us how good and angelic he was for us to vote for him? Now because he is no longer serving their interest but the interest of Nigerians, he is the devil and should forget 2015, if he loves Nigeria. Why can't they themselves show love for Nigeria and allow the Nigerian people decide if Jonathan is coming back to power or not? Is forgetting 2015, the only way to prove your love for Nigeria? Why should he even forget 2015? You see, this is the problem with Nigeria, no matter how we preach the concept of unity in the country, we are always conscious of where we come from. If we may ask, why should Jonathan not contest in 2015, the only answer we will get is "2015 is time for the North, and Jonathan is from the south" What happened to the one Nigeria We all preach and sing? Should where we come from matter during elections as long as we are all Nigerians? Why do we always create the impression that the Presidency belongs to the North? Anybody who has got the charisma, to lead the country and the Nigerian people deem him fit to lead us, should be the President. If we have to look at where you come from before giving the right to contest, then we will say the igbos have not been treated well because they have been deprived of that office for a long time. We all should realise that it is only in Nigeria that we know you are from the North, East, West or South, outside Nigeria, we are all regarded as citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
There is no Federal Republic of Hausa, or Federal Republic of Yoruba or Federal Republic of Igbo, there is only the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Until we are divided, we belong to one stuck and come from one country, called Nigeria and therefore should not allow sentiments control our good judgements.
We are Nigerians, and we should speak in one voice, one language and one nation
