Its official no need to port for those of you that are thinking of porting. Reports reaching me claim that due to the poor network provision by MTN to its subscribers, the subscribers have taken to the streets and have launched an attack at the MTN head office at the Golden plaza Ikoyi while demanding that they should close down.
In a bid to calm its subscribers, MTN has appealed to Etisalat to buy off 80% of its shares which in effect will make etisalat the owners of MTN. Close report has it that etisalat has borrowed money from the World Bank in a bid not to pass off this good opportunity to own the telecommunications giant. According to a staff of Etisalat who spoke to our correspondent, in his words ” Etibaba just can’t let this opportunity pass it by, because this is a once in a red moon chance”.
our correspondent has not been able to get a reaction from Etisalat subscribers, however speaking to an MTN subscriber, who thinks this development is a welcomed idea, in she went on to say “… abeg at least now I can tweet about BBA and read fake nigeria news in peace”
