Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has dissociated himself from what he describes as “the dramatic appearance of campaign billboards and posters being mounted in and around the Federal Capital Territory”.
He said such campaign billboards and posters did not emanate from him and that the whole thing smirks of mischief aimed at dividing the ranks of the new Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On Saturday, Atiku led seven governors and some members of the National Assembly, delegates and aspirants to stage a walkout from the just concluded Special Convention of the party.
They subsequently formed a splinter PDP opposed to President Goodluck Jonathan, in the most explicit internal threat yet to his assumed bid to run for another term in office come 2015.
Na wa ooooo we await 2015
