the remanins of professor chinua acebe arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, this morning (sorry for the delay).The body of the late genius was received by government officials, writers, cultural
organisations and other associate bodies.
Achebe’s casket draped in national colours of green and white was ushered into the local wing, with pall bearers in full Igbo attire as blaring trumpets, songs and dancing pervaded the hall.
Achebe, one of the world’s most reputable authors died on March 21, 2013 at 82.
