Another Plane Crash Averted In Abuja - Medview Airline

Barely a month after the Associated Airlines plane crash, another air disaster was averted at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja on Monday as a Med-View Airlines aircraft from Lagos suddenly took to the air again at the point of landing in Abuja.

Puch reports that the airline Flight VL2104 which had about 150 passengers on board took off from the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos at noon and was scheduled to land in Abuja at about 1.05pm.

Its official, Jim Iyke is untamed for Christ now but that isn't going to stop Seasons 2 and 3 of his 'Unscripted' reality show.
Jim who has been in Ghana for work in his new movie has just signed the contract for the season 2 and 3 of his reality show, 'Unscripted' with The Idea Factory (IFactory) and OHTV.
Shooting for the new seasons continues in November.

Conrad Murray, the former doctor convicted of causing Michael Jackson's death, has been released from jail.

The former cardiologist served less than two years of a four-year sentence after being convicted in November 2011 of involuntary manslaughter.

Jail records confirmed Murray's release and the sheriff's office said he left a Los Angeles jail at 12:01 on Monday.

Jackson died on 25 June 2009 after receiving a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol from Murray.

Former Vice President Mike Akhigbe Dies At 68

Former Chief of General Staff, Vice Admiral Mike Akhigbe, is dead. He was 68.
Akhigbe, whose position in the Armed Forces Ruling Council (AFRC), headed by Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, made him the military vice-president in the junta that superintended the return to democracy in 1999, died at the weekend in England.

It was gathered that the deceased had been battling with cancer for a long time.
Before his appointment as the chief of general staff following the death of the then Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, in 1998, Akhigbe, who hailed from Edo State, was the Chief of Naval Staff.
After his retirement from the navy he went to read law and became an attorney with specialisation in Maritime and Real Estate Law.

Ban on Use of Facebook, Mobile Phone Leads 17-Year-Old Indian Girl to Hang Self

Social networking was so important to 17-year-old Aishwarya Dahiwal from Maharashtra, India, that when her parents prevented her from using her mobile phone and accessing Facebook, she hanged herself on Wednesday night.



Her suicide was preceded by an argument with her parents over spending too much time on Facebook which could affect her studies. She is a college student.

GH Lemgude from the Nanalpeth police station in Parbhani, said, quoted by India TV News, "Like all parents, their intentions were only to ensure that the girl did not go astray. They advised her to concentrate on her studies and stay away from long mobile chats and social networking sites.

In her suicide note, Aishwarya wrote, "Is Facebook so bad? I cannot stay in a home with such restrictions as I can't live without Facebook.
"

Two Planes Collide At MMIA

                  

There was a minor accident yesterday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, involving a Turkish Airline aircraft and a Max Air plane. The Turkish Airline plane wings collided with that of Max Air plane which had brought in Pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.

The Turkish Airplane had landed safely but was taxiing to stop at the airport’s apron when its wing collided with that of Max Air. The collision resulted in minor damages to both airplanes.

But they're both business people and know given their vast wealth it's just the smart thing to do to have a prenup.

We're also told ... even though they will keep their assets separate, they will have a fat joint account for living expenses that will probably approach the gross national product of a small country.
As for how much they have ... some reports place Kim's wealth at $40 mil and Kanye's at $90 mil. But we're told Kim's actually worth more than Kanye.

Woman cuts off her boyfriends penis after she caught him cheating!

OUCH!!! Miss Evidence Nkuna, faces charges of attempted murder for allegedly attacking her boyfriend on October 6 when she found him with another woman and ordered them to strip naked threatening them with a knife. Nkuna allegedly used the knife to cut off her boyfriend's penis. To which she was arrested soon afterwards.
The crime happened in her boyfriends house in Soweto, oth Africa and she appeared in court, this week in the Meadowlands Magistrate's Court. She initially appeared in the Meadowlands Magistrate's Court on Wednesday on a charge of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. Nkuna was released on bail of R2 500....
