Dana gets December Deadline to pay up compensation

Minister of Aviation- Mrs Stella Oduah

Dana air has been given till December to pay up compensation to the families of those who lost their lives according to the minister of aviation Ms Stella Oduah the airline has paid over 60 percent of the claims. Failure to comply with the deadline will attract sanction from the federal government .
The Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, gave the order in Abuja during the 2013 ministerial briefing organised by the Federal Ministry of Communications.
She said, “The challenge of Dana is that of multiple claims. When you have multiple claims, it becomes difficult to ascertain who should collect. And until they are able to do that, they will not pay multiple claims and we will continue verifying and re-verifying to ascertain who should be the next of kin to claim the money.

A RECAP INTO SPAIN AND ITALY MATCH

well for those who missed the game, I have been nice enough  am always nice joor to upload the penalty kick video  between Spain and Italy. it was a war zone as the Italians gave the Spanish team a real tough time

SPAIN wins 7-6 in Penalty Kicks. After zero goals in 120 minutes, Jesus Navas put in the 7th penalty to win the game after Bonucci hit the ball way over the bar giving Navas an attempt at the winner and the Seville midfielder coolly beat goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to send Spain to another major final. Spain will meet Brazil on Sunday afternoon.

The semifinals of the Confederations Cup start yesterday at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN and 8pm local time with an intriguing matchup between arguably the best team in the world — Spain, and a comparable Italian side.
The last two minutes was a bomber and am sorry if you missed it I was practically screaming and jumping well that is not the issue hehehehe.  In draining heat and humidity, each side hit the woodwork in extra time. Emanuele Giaccherini smashed a shot off the post in the 93rd minute and Buffon deflected a shot from Xavi Hernandez off the post in the 115th.
Oh how could I have forgotten to add this! shakira was in the stadium to support her "man" Gerard Pique who didn't disappoint as he defended the Spanish team vigorously. On several occasions he even attempted to score. He took a Penalty shot and didn't miss e wan die  lol!

Amaechi's Ella at the Presidential Dinner Held on Wednesday#Ouch#

From what we gathered from sources, there was drama on Wednesday night at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, venue of the Presidential dinner organised by President Goodluck Jonathan with almost all state governors in attendance.

Probably following directives, a fierce-looking bodyguard stopped Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi from getting close to President Jonathan and shake hands with him...

Amaechi, who is the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), and his loyalists arrived the venue when the event was already in progress. They came in from the Rivers Governor’s lodge where they met earlier for about 15 minutes and then adjourned to honour the President’s invitation.

On his entourage were Governors Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti); Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun); Adams Oshiomole (Edo); Sule Lamido (Jigawa); Rabiu Kwankwanso (Kano); Abdulazeez Kyari-(Zamfara); Muritala Nyako (Adamawa) and Magartakada Wamakko (Sokoto). it gets interesting......

Davido Denies being arrested in Budapest for possession of Fake Currency

i don't know why all these gossip morgers won't learn to mind their business hehehehe why should we......

So guys remember the gist that Davido was arrested for possessing fake Euro currency well his manager has issued an official statement which they sent out to tell their own version of the story.

It has come to our notice that some unscrupulous rumour peddlers have chosen to malign Davido’s hard work ethic and reputation. Davido has been on his European tour for a few weeks and landed in Budapest, Hungary on Friday June 21 for his Budapest stop. He was met with what is perhaps the worst case of unprofessionalism from a promoter in his career as a touring artiste. The promoter in this case is known as Mr Frank of BLACK DIAMOND ENTERTAINMENT.
To the dismay of his management, the agreements on Davido’s ryder were not met despite assurances written and verbal that everything was set. Please note the following facts:
Against their agreement, Davido and his management were given a one bedroom suite to house them during their stay in Budapest.

What is the state of your health?

The state where we are is the state we actually need a transplant. When early diagnosis was done it was just a case of Renal Infection. Right now, the two kidneys are gone, but we a running dialysis at the moment.

When did you observe that you have this illness?

It was two years ago, but it was not depreciated to this level. Then it was a gradual process. it was just like a doctor’s prescription to control your blood pressure level. we did all that , but having off and on experience until it got to this stage.

What would you attribute to this ailment?

Most time people tend to atribute kidney problem to drunkenness or smoking. I was told that it doesn’t have anything to do with that, because as much as i drink and smoke then, it was casual drinking. maybe, they offer you a bottle of drink and all that, not that i have to drink 15 bottles or drink all through the day.

How much do you need for a transplant?

For transplant itself, it varies, because the procedure is $25000. The whole process of the treatment from pre-process,transplanting and post-transplanting will cost about $100,000. I(n two years i have spent up to five million which i have been trying to maintain myself. that is why it has been kept secret.

When are you going for the transplant?

God willing, i have like 8 to 10 weeks more to get it done. It’s strange, i still walk around a little. I can’t eat much again, N20 rice is even enough. I trust God and Nigerians for their financial assistance.

U.k asked for 3,000pounds bond from Nigerians, Nigeria seeks 20,000 pounds from Britons

heheheheh I love my country sha we na dey take last well......
oh well...The Senate has rejected the proposed UK visa policy that seeks to compel visitors from some countries including Nigeria to deposit 3,000 ponds bond before its immigration authority at entry point, saying it would not accept Nigeria in the list.

The upper legislative chamber threatened that it would push for the same treatment on the UK citizens in Nigeria or those seeking entry into the country by the time Nigeria is officially notified of the new development and from what I heard it they will be made to pay 20,000 pounds.....#team niaja for life#
